Yaber's new K3 series projectors come with sound from JBL plus CoolSwift and NovaGlow technologies

Yaber has announced the launch of its new , that comprises the and (with a separate subwoofer) models, at IFA Berlin 2024. The K3 series offers a cinematic experience and sets a new standard for home entertainment with FHD resolution and ANSI lumens of brightness (but Yaber never said what light source is used), projecting from inches even in bright rooms. In terms of audio, the K3 series features a built-in audio system with dual 15W JBL speakers and Dolby Audio support. The customised neodymium speaker unit was developed for the K3 projector by JBL. They also have auto keystone correction and auto-focus. Unfortunately, with throw ratio, you will need some space to get the up to 200-inch display the K3 series can reach. The K3 series isn’t small either coming in at more than 5kg and 29 x 32.3 x 15.4cm dimension-wise. What is different about the K3 series is the new technologies that Yaber has included - and . Yaber claims that “these technologies ensure stable operation and vibrant visuals, even during extended use, marking a significant leap forward in projector performance, quality, and lifespan”. The CoolSwift cooling system features a customised U-shaped heat sink and dual high-performance thermoelectric cooling modules, maximising heat dissipation to keep the Yaber K3 series cool during extended use. CoolSwift's advanced temperature control system adjusts the fan speeds based on ambient conditions and provides real-time monitoring of cooling components to prevent overheating, ensuring the projector operates quietly and safely. NovaGlow uses a ceramic chip on board (COB) light source that boosts brightness and enhances heat dissipation, ensuring efficient and longer-lasting light output. Its patented local dimming technology offers better backlight control, significantly improving contrast for richer, more detailed images. Additionally, advanced picture quality adjustments guarantee that every projection, regardless of content type, delivers realistic colours and textures, bringing visuals to life with increased clarity. This could explain why Yaber feels the K3 series is bright enough with 1,600 ANSI lumens. Available now on , with the K3 model priced at in the United States of America and in Europe and the K3 Pro (with subwoofer) priced at in the United States of America and in Europe. They may also be found later in the year on and but note that Yaber doesn’t have an official store on the platforms.
