Xiaomi’s new mobile operating system is getting ready in the dressing room, and the first detail of this revamped OS is now out: the logo. uploaded a teaser photo that featured HyperOS’s logo, with fans and commenters observing (cheekily) that it resembles existing ones like the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. , CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, personally announced the new mobile operating system for the Xiaomi 14 series and its future phones, which also meant the retirement of MIUI we’ve been familiar with for the last decade. The change in operating systems is hardly superficial. The new HyperOS for Xiaomi smartphones is designed to work better with a rapidly growing Android ecosystem that is no longer limited to handsets, and also gives Xiaomi a real shot at creating an interoperable operating system for its many AIoT devices (connected products or home appliances). If you recall, Xiaomi’s favourite IoT method is having individual apps for every home appliance, which can get frustrating. What do you think of the new logo? Would a new appearance help to improve Xiaomi’s UI senses and usability? Source: , via
