XXL food isn’t something novel—we’ve had Alice Boulangerie’s XXXL croissants, Keong Saik Bakery’s XXL kouign amann, and Deli Hub’s XXL nasi ambeng that can feed up to 15 people. But XXL milk tea that weighs more than 5kg is a first for us. You can now find this giant bubble tea at Wong Fu Fu for a limited time only! This New Taiwanese Eatery Has Free-Flow Bubble Tea, Hot Plate Steak And More In Bugis My colleague and I headed down to try one single item: the Ultimate Mega Bubble Milk Tea. Spoiler alert, we couldn’t finish it on the spot. Not to sound dramatic, but my jaw dropped upon seeing how huge the cup was when it arrived. Each cup holds 5 litres of milk tea with 1kg worth of pearls and enormous grass jelly balls. A medium-sized milk tea cup typically holds about 500ml, which means a total of 10 cups are required to create the Ultimate Mega Bubble Milk Tea. Each huge cup is priced at $28.80++, which works out to be about $2.88++ per cup—girl math at its best. You can decide how much toppings and sugar syrup you want to add. An entire cup of sugar syrup is said to be 50% sugar level, while half a cup amounts to about 25%. You can’t dabao the leftover milk tea, so I encourage you to bring as many friends as you can. Hygiene is not a cause of concern as you can enjoy the milk tea in separate cups instead of having multiple straws in one gigantic cup. For those heading down on a weekday for lunch between 12pm and 5pm, you can have this XXL milk tea for free with a minimum spending of $168. Alternatively, spend more than $228 on their buffet that takes place from 5pm to 10pm every day! In related news, check out Amps Tea, a tea bar by Chagee team with over 10 outlets in Singapore.
