Withing's new BeamO is a 4-in-1 vitals monitor that can be carried around in your pocket

Advances in technology have made it easier than ever for patients to get consultations without leaving the comfort of their home – think telemedicine – but there are still some things that require a physical trip down. Things like checking your lungs with a stethoscope, taking an electrocardiogram (ECG), and more. Well, that might no longer be the case with the multiscope introduced at CES 2024.  A , the Withings BeamO comes with the following: The digital stethoscope can be monitored by plugging in a pair of headphones through a USB-C to jack adapter, and the companion app will store and be able to share the results. Doctors and health professionals will be able to guide users on placement during telehealth sessions thanks to audio streaming. Withings claims that BeamO will be able to , with alerts sent for potential fever and infections, cardiovascular issues and more. Designed to be used by both individuals and families, the companion app will track health stats over time that can be shared with health professionals when needed. Individual profiles can be created and added to use and share Withings devices, with medication tracking and reminders being a new feature added. The projected launch date is in Summer 2024 with a retail price of , but Withings notes that the product hasn't received FDA clearance yet, so it could very well be delayed. No news as of yet on pricing and availability in Singapore.
