WhatsApp is introducing a new feature called “ ” to help users who have just been invited to a group chat. In time to come, whenever users are added to a group chat by someone they don’t know, WhatsApp will offer up what they call a “context card”. such as who created the group, when it was created, and a brief description of what this group is about. At the bottom of the card, there will be a button that will let you exit the group. Granted, the context card doesn’t serve up a lot of information, but it should at least be sufficient to let users know at a glance if this is a group they want to be added to or if it’s a group created by pesky scammers.
