Today, I learned that Europe has an exhibition for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions called MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort). And at this exhibition, LG introduced a new Dualcool air conditioner. LG's newest Dualcool air conditioner has a , which causes air to be discharged through the front-facing outlet. In doing so, LG says "airflow moves downward from the ceiling for a gentler, more refreshing cooling experience". Apparently, this is a common request from users, who said that direct air from the aircon feels too cold. In addition to this, the new Dualcool air conditioner also features that consists of two independent vanes that LG claims help extend airflow range and coverage. LG claims this new system can , which is a 22% increase over its older models. It also claims that this dual vane system improves cooling by up to 23% and heating by up to 6%. Furthermore, the latest Dualcool air conditioner also has a , which measures the distance between people in the room and the air conditioner and then adjusts its airflow for maximum cooling performance. In addition to these features, the new Dualcool air conditioner was also designed to look good. It has a minimalist design and a matte finish that should let it easily integrate into the design themes of most homes. There's no information yet on local availability and pricing, which isn't surprising seeing that this air conditioner was launched at a convention in Europe. We will update this section once we get more details.
