Ubisoft is bringing its triple-A games to Apple devices, including the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadow

Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, has announced a major push to bring its popular gaming franchises to Apple devices.  , we wrote that the publisher will be bringing the latest instalment of its Assassin's Creed series, to Apple devices. The game will only be available for play on the and , and iPad Pro/Air that were launched from 2021 onwards, however. This is the first time that a mainstream Assassin’s Creed console game has been ported to mobile devices, and game takes players on a journey that follows Basim as he changes from a street thief to a Master Assassin in 9th-century Baghdad. But Mirage isn’t the only Assassin’s Creed game coming to Apple devices. During , Ubisoft's executive producer, Marc-Alexis Cote announced that the upcoming  , will be out for macOS devices on the same day it hits consoles and Windows PC on . Beyond the Assassin’s Creed series, Ubisoft also launched , a wacky battle card game, on Apple Arcade. It has also announced plans to bring to macOS computers later this year, leveraging on Apple’s Metal API and the power of the M-series processors.  Having announced a  for iOS 18 during WWDC, it looks like Apple is  showing its hands in making its devices more compelling to traditionally PC and consoles publishers.
