Good news: the humble HBB has just opened butter tgt, a cosy cafe in the CBD! Image credit: @whatipooppp The new cafe is hidden on the second floor of a shophouse along Duxton Road, an easy five-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. It sports a clean and minimalist look, with warm wood furnishings and pops of greenery, adding to the cosy living room vibe. There’s a long table on one end, a couple of four-seaters on the other, and a few chairs lined up against the windowsill. Sold as a set of three, these fluffy mini cakes require a 15-minute wait as they are baked to order. The Matcha ($8), made with ceremonial-grade matcha powder, is another popular pick. In related food news, Cafe Barco is another new cafe by the popular tart bakery Wunderfolks.
