Judging from early reviews, there's no question that Apple's new Vision Pro headset is the most cutting-edge headset ever made. So it's only natural that if you bought one, you'd want to share it with your family members and friends. However, doing so won't be easy. According to a report, even though the Vision Pro headset has to let owners share it, that mode won't store any settings. This means all calibration data will be lost. So if the same user wants to use the Vision Pro headset again, he or she will have to eye tracking, hand scanning, and swapping of optical inserts (if required). I think you can see how constant sharing is going to be a pain. Obviously, Apple could easily let the Vision Pro store multiple user settings, but this isn't an option right now. Perhaps Apple will include it in a future visionOS update. But for now, Apple clearly intends the Vision Pro to be only shared occasionally. Source:
