The Legion Go Lite could be Lenovo's answer to a more affordable PC gaming handheld option

According to , Lenovo is preparing to release a new, more toned-down version of its Lenovo Legion Go handheld dubbed the “ ”. The current Legion Go, launched last October, is one of the more popular portable Windows gaming devices in the market, alongside the   and  . The Legion Go features an 8.8-inch high-resolution display, an  , and detachable game controllers akin to the  .  While full specs are not confirmed, the “Lite” version of the Lenovo Legion Go could possibly include a   similar to the Nintendo Switch Lite, and a   rather than the top-end Z1 Extreme chip used in the current Legion Go handheld. Hopefully, the Legion Go Lite will also be lighter compared to the current Legion Go which weighs a hefty 854g.  The introduction of the Legion Go Lite would allow Lenovo to undercut the existing Legion Go’s price tag of  and better compete with cheaper alternatives of portable gaming PC options like the ASUS ROG Ally. However, it remains to be seen exactly how much performance and which premium features may be sacrificed for a lower price point.  Pricing and full specifications for the Legion Go Lite are still unknown, but the new model is expected to be officially unveiled by Lenovo in the coming months.
