Synology kicks things up a notch with new ActiveProtect storage appliances

At Computex 2024, Synology unveiled a new range of backup devices that it calls . Synology says that the new appliances are designed to offer centralised management and a scalable architecture to protect a business’s data. Synology says that it provides comprehensive coverage for endpoints, servers, hypervisors, storage systems, databases, as well as for services like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace to help reduce IT blind spots and the necessity of operating multiple data protection solutions.
