If you tried and loved Sugar Butter Tree‘s famous cookies at last year’s Isetan Omiyage Fair, here’s some good news: the popular Japanese brand is coming to Singapore soon! Very soon, you can get your cookie fix without flying down to Japan. The Tokyo-famous cookie shop is slated to launch on 20 September as a pop-up at Basement 2 of Takashimaya Shopping Centre, in the Food Hall. For the uninitiated, Sugar Butter Tree is most known for their Sugar Butter Sand Tree, casually referred to as “cereal cookies”. When we tried them at the Isetan fair in 2023, they were sold for $12.90 for a pack of five individually wrapped cookies. At this upcoming Takashimaya launch, they will be sold at $11 for seven pieces and $21 for 14. You also get a thin layer of white chocolate in the centre for an added layer of sweetness.
