Sony has announced a new premium Xperia 1 V1 along with the mid-range Xperia 10 V1 smartphones

Sony has announced the launch of its latest Xperia smartphones, the and . The premium Xperia 1 VI comes with telephoto optical zoom lens that enables shooting at up to while preserving detail. With a focal length ranging from , the phone will allow users to capture distant subjects easily too, and yet also capable of shooting professional portraits with great bokeh effects. The image sensor helps to ensure excellent low-light performance, while AI-powered high-speed autofocus enhances tracking accuracy. Sony is also borrowing some tech from its Bravia television division, with a AI image adjustment technology replicating Sony's TV image quality on the Xperia display. The mid-range Xperia 10 Vi, on the other hand, focuses on comfort and practicality, featuring a large-capacity battery that Sony says can of use and a lightweight design for easy one-handed operation. Its water-resistant body and display gives it more durability. Sony also says advances in chipset performance and battery optimisation has increased continuous video playback time by approximately 10 percent. The new Xperia 1 V1 will be available in both and colours and will be available here from late June 2024 for .
