The Singtel store has long been synonymous with being at Comcentre. The past 22 years has seen held there, with eager customers queuing overnight. It was also easier to sort out contract or billing issues with Singtel staff on hand to help. But that era is now over. For the next few years at least . So, until 2028, Singtel’s flagship store will be located on the third floor of 313 Somerset. The store occupies 4,900 sqft of space and will cater to both consumer and small business needs. A dedicated SMB service area has been set up for business customers, offering solutions like mobile, broadband, and cybersecurity to support their corporate needs. Consumer customers to the new store can scan a QR code for service. As they wait their turn, they can e-catalogues and indicate which products and services they are interested in. This information is then channelled to Singtel staff who can prepare to help them in according to their personalised needs. Beyond the usual phone showcase, the store also includes CASETiFY’s first physical store in Singapore where customers can design their own phone case and get it on the same day. The store also features limited edition designs by Singapore photographer Andy Yong. There is also a TikTok Creator House for influencers and small businesses to develop video content and build their traffic and audience. The creator house is a soundproofed studio with 4K HD cameras, wireless microphones and custom-built production servers for users to produce expert-looking content. The facility is open to the public and booking information will be shared on Singtel’s website. Anna Yip, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Singtel Singapore said: When customers come to our store, it will not be just a shopping trip but an experience – a place where they can connect, collaborate, and co-create. Along with the move to the new store, Singtel has also upcycled and reused several items such as furniture in the customer service area as well as the fabric used to batik-inspired uniforms for the retail staff in the store. There are also recycling bins for the public to deposit their e-waste that Singtel will either dispose of or recycle for donation depending on their condition. Prices are displayed using digital displays known as e-ink that can be easily updated, removing the use of more paper. Singtel says that visitors can expect several store opening promotions, such as a 24-hour 5G data pass and a free travel adapter for any new sign-ups or recontract for M plan and above. Promotions:
