Singtel achieves full 5G network coverage across Singapore’s MRT network

announced today (6 September 2024) that it is the first and only Singapore telco to provide throughout our islandwide train network.  This boast came after Singtel deployed 5G network coverage within the six underground MRT lines, including the dotted across the relatively new (TEL, also affectionately known as the Brown Line). In its official statement, Singtel said that deploying 5G to MRT lines was a challenge due to several constraints.
