Say goodbye to boring text messages and hello to WhatsApp video notes!

In an update, WhatsApp has announced new way to allow users to in length directly to a chat to “stay connected to each other” the app said.  Rather than sending a video note by long pressing the camera button at the bottom-right corner of the screen, you will now see a new mode called " ". Its hoped that this makes it easier for users to reach and send Video Notes.  According to the release notes, users can send a video note to an individual or group chat in one of two ways: When you receive a video note on WhatsApp, it'll appear as a muted preview that auto-plays three times on loop. To play it, simply tap the video note preview and it’ll automatically enlarge and start playing from the beginning. You’ll have limited control over its playback to pause it (by tapping or clicking the video), or scrolling away from it. Resume the video by tapping or clicking it again. WhatsApp stressed the privacy and security of video notes as only the user can send or forward their own video notes. It was also not possible to save any video notes. You also have a limited time to delete the video notes for yourself or everyone in the chat. WhatsApp said that it is rolling out the updates globally and as such, it may not be available to all users just yet. It added that if a user is unable to send video notes using the camera icon, they could still send one by tapping the microphone icon to switch from voice to video recording, then pressing and holding the video camera icon to start recording.
