Samsung's 2024 TVs have received CC certification for Samsung Knox security standards, 10 years in a row

Samsung Knox has always been one of the Samsung's biggest selling points, boasting on-device security for electronics like smartphones, tablets and TVs. The Korean company has announced that it has managed to receive Common Criteria (CC) certification for Samsung Knox on its . This is the 10th year in a row that Samsung managed to get its on-board security tested and verified. is a global cybersecurity benchmark that assesses the security integrity of IT products and is recognised by 31 countries globally. Samsung Knox on Samsung TVs received this certification because of three core security features it has. First, Samsung Knox offers Tizen OS Monitoring, which actively detects threats in real time to flag any unauthorised changes in critical sectors of the operating system of Samsung TVs.  There's also Phishing Website Blocking, which verifies webpages that are accessed by users, while it blocks phishing sites to safeguard them. Finally, there's Enhanced Personal Information Protection thanks to Samsung Knox Vault, a dedicated processor for security functions, which protects sensitive personal data through a secure connection. While there's still no official announcement on when the 2024 TVs from Samsung will start shipping, we should see them coming to market within the next few months.  Source:
