did a “one more thing” tease at the end of its Galaxy S24 series Unpacked announcement, where the Korean company introduced the wearable device. Now, someone claims they’ve touched it, despite the ring wearable not being available for hands-on during the Unpacked event. Avi Greengart, Lead Analyst at Techsponential (a US-based market research and advisory firm), that the Samsung Galaxy Ring is “ridiculously light, comes in sizes up to 13, and is currently planned in three finishes”. The analyst also added that the wearable would launch “later this year”, with no specific pricing details. While it’s not unusual for wearables to come in various sizes for a better fit (see smartwatches in general), a ring wearable is a different beast altogether. Smartwatches can vary because the main components are typically stored within the watch case, and you can adjust the non-smart straps to your liking. A wearable ring would mean having its circuitry and sensors encased in or around a curved physical construct. You could have a one-size-fits-all motherboard, but the rest of the ring would be hollow. That doesnt take sensor placement and battery size into account yet, since it would shift based on the size around your finger. Source: ,
