One last adventure: The Grand Tour’s final episode airs on 13 September

All good things must come to an end. The Grand Tour has just released the trailer of the show’s final episode.  Titled , it will be the final road trip that the legendary trio of Clarkson, Hammond, and May will take together. According to the synopsis, the trio will ignore the instructions of Mr Wilman (the show’s producer) and take three cars they have always wanted to own on a road trip in Zimbabwe. The three cars are a .  The synopsis adds that the trip will take them “through beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes leading to an emotional ending on a strangely familiar island”. The Grand Tour started in 2016, after Clarkson, Hammond, and May all left the BBC’s Top Gear following an incident in which Clarkson was fired from the show for punching a producer. Before The Grand Tour, the trio was the face of the BBC’s Top Gear for 12 years. Happily, this won’t be the last time we see the three hosts. Clarkson’s wildly successful Clarkson’s Farm series will be back for another season. May also has a travel series on Prime Video, though it’s unclear if it will be back for another season. As for Hammond, he makes occasional appearances on the , a motoring platform founded by Clarkson, May, and himself in 2016. The grand finale will air on Amazon’s Prime Video service on .
