A big (and shiny) reason to get the phones by Nothing is the LED backlighting, called Glyph Interface. It provides a stylish visual cue for important notifications, and it can be customised to your liking. While the Nothing Phone (2) ( ) saw practical upgrades to the lighting system, Nothing has now taken it another step further by introducing Glyph support for third-party apps through its newly launched Glyph Developer Kit. Nothing uploaded the developer kit on its , and its documentation showed that both Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2)’s backlights are fully customisable, with mappable lighting zones mapped for both models.
