Nokia just announced that it has .  The 5G patent license agreement will and other cellular technologies. While the terms of the agreement remain confidential, Nokia boasts that this is over the past 12 months. Most recently, Apple and Nokia signed in July 2023. Nokia also has   that it signed in January 2023, and another with Huawei which it signed earlier in December 2022. This deal solidifies Nokia's position as a key player in the wireless equipment market. Nokia currently has over 20,000 patent families, of which over 6,000 patent families are declared essential to 5G.
