As the release date for Elden Ring’s first DLC, draws near, Bandai Namco is giving fans a treat with a new story trailer that raises more intriguing questions about the game’s lore. From developer , who are known for their cryptic storytelling, the DLC will transport players once again to the – which is populated by new horrors imagined by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The trailer shines a spotlight on Miquella, a mysterious figure encased in an egg with a withered arm in the original game whom we only know is the elder twin brother of Malenia. Another character introduced is Messmer, a fiery-haired individual who seems to hold significant sway over the fate of the Land of Shadow in the trailer.
