New Dell Precision workstations get upgraded with Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GPUs

Dell’s new 3000 and 5000 Series mobile workstations come with Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc Pro Integrated Graphics. The Precision series’ full notebook and tower lineup will also feature the NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation GPU stack, including the all-new, higher-performing, entry-level NVIDIA graphics RTX 500 and 1000 Ada Generation Laptop GPUs, which provide AI, ray tracing, and graphics capabilities. The Dell Precision 3490 and 3590 notebooks come with 14-inch and 15.6-inch FHD displays with 400Nits of brightness respectively. They can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 165H vPro Enterprise processor, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, up to 2TB of storage, and up to an Nvidia RTX 500 Ada Generation GPU. They also feature a Spill-proof Pro2 keyboard with a backlit option and optional 5G connectivity. The Dell Precision 3591 has a 15.6-inch FHD display with 400Nits of brightness that is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H vPro Enterprise processor, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, up to 2TB of storage, and up to an Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU. The Dell Precision 3280 Compact Form Factor (CFF) calls to mind a larger version of (or ). Dell calls this a space-saving form factor that can used on a desk, mounted on the back of a monitor, or kept where one-on-one access is needed. It supports , to deliver accelerated AI inferencing and high-performance computing capabilities. The Dell Precision 3680 Tower supports Intel Core 14th Gen processors and up to an NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPU, and “Unlimited Turbo Duration” (that keeps the workstation running at turbo speeds for longer) to become what Dell calls, its “fastest workstation for single-threaded tasks”. It also comes with up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory, 28 TB of total storage with up to three M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSDs on the motherboard and up to three 3.5-inch SATA HDDs. The machine also supports native 1GbE Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The two 5000 series notebooks feature a 14-inch QHD+ display (5490) and a 16-inch OLED touch screen (5690). The Precision 5490 comes with up to an Intel Ultra 9 185H processor, 64GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB of storage, and an NVIDIA RTX 3000 Ada Generation. The Precision 5690 also sports the same specs but has up to an Nvidia RTX 5000 Ada Generation discrete GPU. They both also support Wi-Fi 7. The Dell Precision 3280 Compact Form Factor will be released on 26 March with all of the other Dell Precision devices being released on 13 March.
