Netflix confirms it's not making an app for the Apple Vision Pro

There's a good chance many early customers of will be using their new toy to watch videos. To that end, Apple has got many of the major streaming services to commit to standalone apps for its new headset.  Disney, Amazon, Paramount, HBO, Peacock, Crunchyroll, and more have all said that they will be offering apps for the Vision Pro. And of course, Apple has its own Apple TV+ app and video streaming service. . The company said this in a statement: Our members will be able to enjoy Netflix on the web browser on the Vision Pro, similar to how our members can enjoy Netflix on Macs. Apple said earlier that it's easy for developers to port their iPadOS apps to visionOS, but apparently, Netflix has chosen not to divert any of its resources to do so. Netflix did not disclose why they are not offering a Vision Pro app. After all, as I mentioned above, Apple does have its own video streaming service. Apple's Vision Pro doesn't get a dedicated app for the world's most popular video streaming service, and Netflix misses out on the opportunity to debut on what is easily one of this year's most important new devices. Fortunately, Apple can count on other partners. Disney said that its Disney+ video streaming service will offer select movies in 3D at launch, and with more to come later. Source:
