Apple is expected to begin mass production of AirPods with cameras by 2026. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims Apple plans to add an infrared camera to future AirPods, which can integrate with and . Kuo believes the AirPods with cameras could monitor environmental image variations and enable in-air gesture control for better human-device interaction. The new AirPods with cameras could also improve the user experience of spatial audio; when the Vision Pro user turns in a certain direction, the sound source can be emphasised in that particular direction.
