Fans of Madeleine’s Original Portuguese Egg Tart have around a month left to get their egg tart fix from the popular Tanjong Katong bakery, before its shutters officially close for the final time. According to a CNA exclusive, the Tanjong Katong bakery space is rented from a landlord, who decided to sell the unit. As a result, the bakery owners decided to stop all operations. These egg tarts are said to be super flaky on the outside, with a generous amount of smooth egg custard in the middle. Besides egg tarts, the bakery also offers Macau Crispy Puff ($2.50) in two flavours: Wintermelon and Red Bean Paste. Get them while you can, before the bakery officially closes down.
