is a home to professionals who are either meticulously building or just as carefully bragging about work achievements, new role announcements and more. Today, LinkedIn added another dimension to the corporate tent-pitching with the announcement of . . LinkedIn isn't just letting you play any random ol' game, of course. The titles fit the themes of showing off your smarts and the platform's professional nature. Three games are available at the moment, and all can only be played once a day, presumably to prevent professionals from using "portfolio building" as an excuse to skive off at work. Then, the top and bottom words will be unlocked to complete the puzzle for the day. Last, there's . It's reminiscent of a Sudoku puzzle in that you'll have to put a "Queen" in each coloured region, but each row and column can only have a single queen. Then, you'll have to mark all the other spots with an X, almost like you would in Minesweeper, only that the X here represents places that the "Queens" cannot be in. Of course, this benefits LinkedIn by increasing traffic and engagement on the website and making people want to come back every day to continue their "streak" on the games. The games refresh daily at 12AM California time, or 3PM here in Singapore, so it's the perfect excuse for you and your colleagues to take a short break each afternoon to "network on LinkedIn".
