LG 2024 OLED TV series use yet more AI to improve its audio and video quality

For CES 2024, as part of the upgrades to its M and G OLED TV series, LG has included a new AI-powered processor, the α11 AI processor, that is exclusively designed for the new M4 and G4 series. The AI is also used to separate vocals from the soundtrack to enhance the clarity of dialogue. Besides coming with the latest , the newest LG TVs also support Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in for improved compatibility with mobile devices. In its flagship M4 series, LG has again brought back the that eliminates all connected cables. LG says that the OLED M4 “is the world’s first TV with wireless video and audio transmission at up to 4K 144Hz”. We asked for more information about the different screen sizes available, but could only find out that the new M4 series goes from 65 to 97 inches in size. According to our queries with LG, there are another two OLED series of TVs, the B and C, that have also been upgraded but the company is unable to provide any information about them. However, the 2023 G3 model was brighter and had better colour clarity than both the B3 and C3 series from that year. As with its other CES 2024 products, LG has yet to release any pricing or availability information. We will update this article with more information when we receive it.
