According to noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will likely have of the Vision Pro headset available at launch. He also believes that the headset will sell out at launch. This is despite its high price (US$3,499) and the fact that there's no clearly defined use case for the Vision Pro yet. He thinks the "groundbreaking technology innovations" and will be enough to exhaust supplies at launch. However, , saying that it is unclear if demand will sustain "after the novelty wears off." Continued demand, he says, will depend largely on how Apple decides to position and market the product and whether any clear use case emerges. So far, , and while the experience was impressive, lots of questions remain. Will it be comfortable enough to be used for long periods? Can I run all of my favourite Mac apps? Can I really control it with just my eyes and hands? If the Vision Pro successfully navigates all these hurdles and delights its owners, it could herald a new class of computing devices.
