Keychron has named Convergent Systems as its exclusive distributor in Singapore. Known for its line of mechanical keyboards, Keychron has been expanding its presence in our sunny island recently, as its range are also available at – arguably the best (and the largest) place for those just starting out to learn the craft of mechanical keyboard building. But starting from this month, Keychron's keyboards will also be available in physical stores such as Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, and Popular Bookstores. It’s a chance for those who want to do a hand-on of Keychron keyboards at a physical store before making their purchase decision. There's also a little something extra for early buyers. Convergent has shared that customers purchasing selected Keychron products from these stores will also receive a free (while stocks last). There’s a growing appetite in Singapore for more premium and customisable keyboards, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, and Keychron’s partnership with Convergent Systems is an indication that this trend is here stay. It’s interesting to see how far the humble keyboard has come; It’s no longer an input device but also a statement of one’s personal style.
