Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming soon to a PC and Xbox near you

At the Xbox Developer Direct online event, and officially revealed , a first-person title made in partnership with . Chronologically set between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the game’s plot hinges on a stolen artifact and its connection to a global network of ancient monuments forming a mysterious circle around the Earth. Interestingly, the game will be made in a first-person perspective rather than following the precedent set by similar third-person adventure games like the and series, which, in my opinion, have effectively captured the cinematic essence of the Indiana Jones series. Concerns about Indy's visibility are addressed with the promise of occasional third-person perspectives and cut-scenes featuring a convincing Harrison Ford likeness. Plus, having an experienced and renowned voice actor like Troy Baker behind the character is a huge bonus. What truly excites me in the video reveal though, is the game's fidelity to classic Indy elements. The whip serves both as a tool for navigation and combat, complemented by the series' signature robust fisticuffs and sound effects. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2024 and will launch day one on .
