Google’s Huat Pals make their return to Google Pay from 6 to 18 February. Users can look forward to collecting in-app goodies and new ways to walk home with attractive prizes, such as a scratch card worth up to S$88 or a device from Google’s Pixel family. A new in-app game, Huat Match, will make its debut this year, where users will have to match as many auspicious icons as they can with a limited number of moves. Users can also put their wits to the test with Huat Trivia, or scan CNY items like oranges and paper lanterns with the Huat Scanner to earn special vouchers from local partners such as Irvin’s, Klook, Shopee, ShopBack, and Suntec. Five new Huat Pals — Xixi Haha, Ah Bong, Macho Meow, Hop Pop and Souper Loong – will be added to welcome the Year of the Dragon.
