Google to add AI to get deeper health insights from FitBit trackers

During its , Google shared its new to incorporating AI into products and services people use daily to gain tailored, personalised insights that users can explore based on their needs and preferences.  Fitbit and Google Research are working together to build a , to provide personalised health and wellness features via the . It will examine the data generated by a user’s and devices to get even more insights and recommendations.  For example, it may be able to analyse and , and suggest how you might change the intensity of your workout based on those insights. Whereas most health-tracking apps display insights via charts and graphs, users will be able to ask questions in a natural way, , and the Fitbit app is able to draw connections and correlations between the data. For example, you could dig into how many (AZMs) you had and the correlation with how restorative your sleep was.    Fitbit's active zone minutes are related to your heart rate during exercise and are logged whenever the user’s heart rate is elevated. More minutes are awarded for higher-intensity workouts. Users earn one Active Zone Minute for each minute spent in the fat-burning zone and two Active Zone Minutes per minute spent in the cardio zone. Right now, Fitbit Labs is giving Premium users early access to these AI features to test and give feedback on.
