Google is shutting down its Google One VPN service later this year

Google One VPN is shutting down in the next few months. It didn't specify when and only said it will be discontinued "later this year". Google confirmed with 9to5Google that it plans to as "people simply weren't using it". The shutting down of Google One VPN will allow the team to "refocus" and "support more in-demand features with Google One". This, however, won't affect the free Pixel VPN service that was introduced with . Users in Singapore didn't get this free VPN service so Pixel 7 owners here won't be affected as well.
