Giga MVNO improves in-app inclusivity with new accessibility features and AI chatbot

, the MVNO sub-brand by StarHub, announced new accessibility features for its app today (5 April 2024) to help users navigate it more easily. According to StarHub, the additional features were made to fulfil its promise to use technology to empower persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Singapore. Granting equal access to PWDs helps ensure a more inclusive experience in a connected and mobile-first landscape. The following are the new accessibility features to help users navigate the Giga app: Giga also extended free subscription benefits for an additional year, bringing it up to two years for PWD Giga users. Giga also upgraded its chatbot, Gino, by appending OpenAI’s LLMs, making it more responsive and inclusive in providing guided responses to customer queries with the help of AI.
