But here you’re getting five giant fresh oysters with your orh luak, so the price point isn’t that bad after all. Online reviews for the oyster omelette are mixed, with some patrons stating the omelette is too gooey. When we visited the stall last year, we found their char kway teow to boast a strong wok hei fragrance, pairing well with the sweet and fresh hum. If you want something more interesting, go for their Mala Fried Kway Teow ($5/$7), which packs a punch in the spice department. Other creative fusion dishes on their menu include Wasabi Floss Carrot Cake ($6/$7) and Crab Meat Char Kway Teow ($10).
