I agree with the points in the letter “ ” (Aug 9). Singapore has a harmonious society where all races can live happily together. As a British permanent resident here, I must say it is a pleasure to enjoy the harmony. Throughout Europe, there are problems with racial harmony so it is vital Singapore continues to avoid these problems.
