Focal has announced its new wired headphones, the and the in recent years.  This time, the French company announced two entry-level (but still audiophile-grade) headphones to their lineup. There's the close-backed  , next to the  , an open-back headphone.  The close-backed Azurys headphone is built on the same familiar chassis as the Bathys ( ). Driving it are Focal's French-made and trademarked   under the leather cups that provide engaging tonality and dynamics. Focal claims the drivers are built to be  , reducing distortion and giving the drivers maximum potential travel to give its bass proper low-frequency presence and its treble detail to stay warm and natural. For technical specifications, the Azurys has a sensitivity of 100dB @ SPL 1mW and a claimed frequency range of 15Hz to 22kHz. Its total harmonic distribution is less than 0.35% @ 1kHz. Additionally, the headphones have a 26-ohm impedance, making them relatively easy to drive and bring around for use during your daily commute, at work, or on flights.  Weighing in at  , the Azurys is made from leather, magnesium, and aluminium to ensure durability and remain comfortable for wear on most head shapes. The headphones can be stowed away in the included carrying case when not in use and the stock that comes with the Azurys can be swapped out for a 4.4mm balanced version should you require it. The second of the two is the  , an . Does it look familiar?
