Cost Guide To Watching Euro 2024 In Singapore

Will Italy claim victory again?

The Euro 2024 season is upon us, with 51 matches between various European countries in Germany. For us football fans, catching all the action and supporting our teams will require knowledge of where to tune in and how much it will cost. The games will be played at 9pm, 12am and 3am Singapore Time, with the bigger matches being at 12am and 3 am. Kick-offs are on 14 June and the finals are on the 14 July, with both being at 3am. Below is the match schedule:   30 Jun – 3 Jul are the round of 16 and will be determined after the group stage matches. The quarter finals will be held on 6 – 7 Jul, semi-finals on 10-11 Jul, and the finals on 15 Jul. There are 3 broadcasters in Singapore, Singtel, Starhub and MeWatch. All three offer the same price for an early bird subscription with the same coverage at $88 until 26 May, after which they revert to the normal price of $108. Effectively, for people who watch every game, this is as good as paying $1.73 to watch each game for early bird subscriptions and $2.12 per game for the usual price. This represents a small increase in prices from Euro 2021 with early bird plans at $83 for Singtel and $84 for Starhub. Normal Prices were $93 for Singtel and $94 for Starhub. That is a 4.76% – 6.02% increase for early birds whilst it is 14.89% – 16.13% for the usual price. There are also small differences in what each broadcaster offers. For example, Starhub offers a free starter+ pass with every subscription. However, every broadcaster will allow for multi-device viewing, highlight recaps and full match replays. Singtel and Starhub offer commercial licenses to broadcast the games. This will usually be for sports bars and coffeeshops that play these games live. For those who just want to watch for free, there are four matches. Only the group matches are shown for free for now. The quarter, semi and finals matches are not shown for free, however you can consider watching those at a sports bar or a friend’s house. In the past, some community centres and even MacDonalds’ outlets have streamed this game, but thus far there is no available information on this.
