Bukit View Secondary School is aware of the viral video of one of its students viciously kicking another boy in the back as others watched. The smaller boy who was kicked to the ground can be heard screaming in pain. Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the 18-second video that was apparently first posted on Instagram by SGfollowsall before being shared by . In response to a Stomp query, school principal Jaswant Singh said: "The school is aware of the recent video circulating online on a bullying incident. "The incident, which occurred outside of school premises in October 2023, was not reported to the school at the time. "Following the circulation of the video, the school immediately checked in on the well-being of the student, who did not report any injuries at that time." The principal added that the school takes a serious view of such misbehaviour and will counsel the students involved as well as mete out disciplinary actions where appropriate. A police report has also been lodged by the parents, said the principal. When contacted by Stomp, the police confirmed a report was lodged, adding that investigations are ongoing.
