Apple reportedly rejected AI partnership with Meta months ago

A recent report indicated that Apple is in discussions with Meta on a potential AI partnership, but Bloomberg disputes the claim and states otherwise.  Sources with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg that in March around the same time as OpenAI and Alphabet, but they did not progress further. Apple apparently decided against an AI partnership with Meta as the latter's . Bloomberg added that "Apple has no active plans to integrate LIama".  that it is across iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. While Apple is open to adding support for other AI models in the future, the latest Bloomberg report suggests that Meta's open-source LIama large language model is not on the list of potential partners.  Source: via
