Other times, they are chastised in the media for setting a bad example. The latest famous cancer case involves supermodel Elle Macpherson, age 60, whose breast cancer tale has lit up the media. She claims she used an “intuitive, heart-led, holistic” approach to remaining healthy and glowing seven years after being diagnosed with a non-invasive breast cancer for which her doctor recommended more radical surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
